A dynamic new direction
Treloar's Direct is an initiative born of a realisation that the excellent services which we currently offer the 270 students resident at Treloar's can also be made available to the community beyond our campus. Today, as a result of Action for Inclusion, we see more and more young people with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities attending mainstream schools and colleges.
Until now Treloar's resources have been solely based at our special school and college in Hampshire. These sites provide education, care, therapy, medical support and independence training to young people with disabilities from all over the UK and overseas. We enable them to learn and become more self-sufficient. Our key aim is to prepare them for adult life - to give them the confidence and vital skills to achieve their full potential.
Trailblazer now puts Treloar's services on the road with every aspect of our assistive technology and therapy at hand without recourse to our home base.
Our experienced engineers and therapists can now bring their extraordinary skills and years of experience directly to those recognised by school and college special needs staff as needing our unique facility.
