For students dealing with the limitations of physical disabilities in the outside world, our engineers use their experience and all the advanced technology at their disposal to improve wheelchair mobility and seating.
Solutions range from ingenious low-tech answers to complex high-tech additions. Examples include adding a bespoke headrest to a wheelchair seat, mounting a communication aid onto the wheelchair frame, modifying joysticks to meet the users precise needs and literally thousands of other adaptations that improve mobility. We also have a large number of sophisticated wheelchair steering devices that can be selected to suit any particular disability.
The Trailblazer is fully equipped with all the necessary equipment to ensure optimum mobility and comfort. Wheelchairs are kept on board for practical and demonstration purposes, with a handy mobile hoist to simplify the process.
In addition, the Trailblazer is fitted with a well-equipped workbench and all the tools needed to make simple repairs and corrections that can be carried out on-the-spot at no charge.
